Great poll!!! This will be fun to see the results.

Sean Connery for sure. Then Daniel Craig. I love the new movies, with the new dark/edginess, it's lost some of the original Ian Fleming quirkiness. It's definitely more serious.

I feel a little guilty for liking Roger Moore some, too... Just because he was Bond when I was growing up. Live and Let Die, Moonraker, Octopussy, View to a Kill... Good stuff.

Pierce Brosnan should have never even been Bond. Frickin' Remington Steele. Rolling Eyes

I guess I saw him in one too many Remington Steele's BEFORE he was Bond... and I really disliked Remington Steele the character. I thought he was just too fem... kind of a puss, actually. I used to have to watch it sometimes because my grandma and grandpa watched it. It was just on, so I watched. So, it kind of ruined Pierce for me.

Dalton by far

a short guy with inflated muscles is not Flemmings Bond or even close to it, Dalton and Moore fit that best

I had to vote for Sean Connery because he will always be the first Bond and the actor that set the bar for charm, wit and the class that is James Bond. With that being said, I grew up in the era of Roger Moore as Bond and I enjoy watching his movies very much. Then there is Casino Royale which is one of my favorite Bond flicks and that is thanks to Daniel Craig in many ways. He brought back the rough hewn edgy Bond that had been missing for years. The man wears clothes like nobody's business and he just looks really cool on screen. Although QOS was a sucky movie, it wasn't Craig's fault at all. I think if they go back to what made Casino Royale such a great movie then they will hit a home run with the next movie. I hated Dalton as Bond and Pierce Brosnan was good in Goldeneye but I grew tired of him after that. George Lazenby was not a bad Bond at all and OHMSS is one of my favorite of the films.

Lazenby and Connery, Connery was too cheesy for the character but he made it fun to watch, and all the rest of them have been trying to live up to Lazenbys role.

Funny you should mention that Jask, I actually watched the Lazenby movie over Christmas. I really liked his portrail. I remember the first time I saw that on "a movie for a Sunday afternoon" I didn't recognize Lazenby but I kept thinking "Hey this would make a great bond movie!" Well that and "COOL!! A super cassette deck setup I want one!"
