ha, what do you think that would accomplish? That's an expensive solution for splitting audio and video. I'm getting ready to sell the Edge anyway. I don't think Edge has a pass-through.

I had a VP50 for several months and had to send back for repairs. At that time the Edge was introduced so I did an even swap. The Edge is connected to Directv stb, Onkyo 805 rcvr, Bluray dvd and a Samsung 67 inch LED DLP hdtv. Would I buy one for this type of setup, NO. HD is pretty good and Edge does not make significant improvements or at least not $800- worth. The HDMI audio only is nice and I had been trying to find a DVD player with dual outputs. Channel switching causes some screen flashing which is irritating. Biggest problem is hdmi from the stb to Edge to the rcvr. does not pass dolby digital. I have to use optical or coax digital from the stb to edge to pass dolby to the rcvr. Asked DVDO what the problem is, no reply. DVD to Edge via hdmi passes dolby signal. You fellas with CRT displays should go with the
VP50 PRO so you can have hdmi 1.3 outputs.
