I have a Dell 1800 projector with VGA input that can supposedly handle up to 1080i. My source is a new Samsung BluRay player. Using the approrpiate connector cable and with a recently acquired HDFury converter, however, the Dell projector fails to detect anything coming in on the VGA input and says "no input". A little blue light in the HDFury is on, indicating I think that it is getting sufficient power. I have had intermittent success at getting a signal from the BluRay unit to an old crt device using the HD Fury, but cannot get it to display consistently either. Is the HDFury defective?
