So it would be a good idea to check part #'s before changing anything correct?
Or do I need to find the exact same model runco 1101 boards to replace mine.....

This is sort of interesting. That Hshift+focus board does have an 808s part number on it, but the vert/sync and horiz boards both also have numbers that don't line up with the expected 1209s numbers. They're in the parts spreadsheets for the BV1209, BV1609, BD1109, etc. The fact that the serial number stickers all match just seems to mean Runco custom picked these three boards for their own variant flavor.

So, if replacing any of these boards were to become an issue, I'm not sure if they need to be the exact part number or the typical 1209s number..... not that this will turn out to be necessary.

I'd like to see a list of all the board numbers in the different Runco 9" models. I'll make one of all the boards in my 1100.

I'd like to have a copy of that if you do it.

Isn't the Runco DTV 1100 based on the Barco DATA 1209s?
Does a Runco DTV 1100 have a scan switch board in it?

The runco DTV 1101 specsheet says it goes up to 130kHz, so that is a Barco GRAPHICS 1209s.
I haven't found a specsheet for a DTV 1100, but looking at the partnumbers for the Hor. Defl. it is almost certainly based on a Barco DATA 1209s.

I have some barco "remote weirdness" going on,this is what is happening;

None of the buttons are depressed or stuck.I did notice that when powered up the RCU led remains on constantly,I've blocked off both IR recievers and it seems the RCU is blinking every 5 or 10 sec before I power up.What is also weird is even though I have blocked the IR with my hand just to be sure,I will hit keys on the remote and then the RCU led will respond, this is without the unit on as when I switch the unit on the RCU led is on constantly.

It's like there is another IR receiver in the unit somewhere, just weird!
Anyone have a clue?

A BG 1209s uses the deflection switching board R762457 as pictured. The 1209s data has only one set of coils.

Fully disconnect the IR sensors and see if it goes away.. If the set works fine normally, I wouldn't worry about it though.

There is only one lead that looks like it can be disconnected (pic attached)the other lead goes to the motherboard.
This lead in the pic wont budge,I mean it feels like the really really stuck.

Dave, you need to disconnect the other end that has a plug & socket down on the motherboard under the fan. You'll have to remove the fan by popping the two plastic rivets out, unplugging the fan power connector, and lifting the fan straight up.

Actually, since you're ceiling mounted the fan will likely fall out once you pop the two plastic rivets....

Just unplugged the lead going to the motherboard and closed off the front IR receiver with elec tape,I turned on the unit (hard wired) and noticed no difference, same issue,RCU led is still constantly on and unit is still cycling in and out of power.

There are three red led's lit now,Scanfail on G2 board, mute on switcher and the one on the vertical/sync board.

It seems nothing I try makes any difference Crying or Very sad
