|
|
I connected my blu ray player last night via component -> dvdo vp30 -> rgbhv -> dwin hd 700. Projecting a 16:9 image @ 1080i 60 with colorspace set to rgb and the color is off. Only way to describe is it looks sort of magenta and light green. I checked the tubes and they look new rgb all work fine and bright. Please help. Thank you.

Is there any burn or pattern on any of the tubes or the projected image?
Is there a color problem at other resolutions?
make sure the color space is set correctly on the input AND the output of the dvdo!

Sounds like you have a red tube out. Or a bad cable? Component cables reversed?

Thanks Guys,
I got this fixed last week. Had the back of the dvdo set wrong rgbhv should be gbrhv. After all the set up I have to say I am now happily enjoying crt. I previously had an Optoma hd70 and the blacks on the Dwin beat it hands down.

Yes, I think they all do. Usually only when it is warming up though.

I figured out the problem. The DWIN can only see negative sync, the Fury2 passes through what sync input it sees, which in the Br and HD DVD case is positive. Get an Extron 202 and put it between the output of the Fury2 and the DWIn, and you're fine.
