so I've always wanted a projector. I remember seeing the occasional crt project and I always liked them. So I picked one up (a well used zenith pro881xr) and it didn't come with a remote. I've got it fairly (i.e. really badly) set up and am loving the large picture on my wall. So in two weeks when the semester is over im going to clean the "fungus" out of the tubes. I happen to have a pronto ts1000 that I use for all the random stuff I own. I was hoping the someone had the basic remote or the set up remote in a .ccf file that I could use. (it looks like if I had a "source" button I could do the basic digital convergence.) thanks a bunch!
and thanks for all of the setup guides and info on the site. Its been a great help so far.

I've dug through remotecentral and the internet for over a week now. All I've managed to come up with is a rc5 for the on/off. (at least I don't have to jump up in the air anymore. lol) But I might have to resort to pure guessing and see if I get anything.

Post a WTB in the Buy and Sell forum. Maybe someone has a remote for cheap.

I think you already emailed me, but I've got one at $100 incl shipping. Expensive, but they are super hard to find at this point, and without it, you can't converge it..

Yea I need to clean it really bad so I wanted to wait till after to order a remote to see if I end up killing it in the process. I was pulling mosquitoes out of the lenses on this one. (why people store electronics in their garage is beyond me) $100 isn't too bad, Im sure zenith (when they still sold it) had a much higher price...
Also if I were to document the internals would anyone be interested? maybe save others the adventure of rear/front/ceiling/floor projection I had.
