Nope, she's completely black and white, zero gray there. THe only gray in our relationship is the odd hair on my temples..

The question is were the grey hairs there before the relationship ?

Digitals still don't have the lifespan of CRT projectors even if they are able to equal them in all aspects of picture quality.
Show me any 10-year-old digital PJ with 20,000 hours on it and I'll show you a worn out hunk of junk. CRT PJs tend to have a much
longer service life...definitely!
My own 9500LC was upgraded by me to its current level, starting with an 8500 chassis made in 1996, with over 50,000 hours on the meter.
The tubes were shot, of course, but it still ran just fine. It's been fully converted, of course.
Somehow I even managed to reset the hours meter. I have no idea how I did it, though. It was accidental.
