Looks like your dry wall skills are worse than mine. (and that takes effort Smile )

I would only say that the plywood sheet will be susceptible to temperature and will move.

Interesting Gary your using a Box1021, I thought you would do gamma digitally with the VP50pro.

Holy crap.... I can't imagine what the Barco guys are thinking. I got chewed out for asking about a simple fan circuit change. This is something else entirely.

Sorry you felt "chewed out" about the fan mod question months ago - I remember it,
we were just trying to keep you from heading toward a bunch of problems later on.
Hope everything worked out fine.

No Worries! Everything did work out fine and I appreciate the input from you guys. I'm just surprised that Mr. Murrel isn't getting more comments on his handiwork.

that sucker is braced in 3 or 4 places including from above, it is as solid as rock and has been there for 3 years now, hopefully it won't give me any of those problems

when I am finished this entire cavity is packed with 3 or 4 layers of insulation above and behind the PJ area, can't see it from the photos but at the back of that space is a big window

Mike, there is no gamma control on the VP50pro like that, it is merely a overall adjustment Sad

I bought the unit after reading your comments on it and I have to agree 100% with what you said
