You'll have the same setup Mike was running at the exact time of your visit.

You can bet your back-teeth that its been changed, probably 10 seconds after you left the front door and probably every day since then at least Shocked

Oh you'll want to be getting the latest version of the VIM card, and I do mean the latest version, I don't think anyone has one yet except me. I have one that I modded and installed in my Zenith 1200X pro. I thought my last Moome board was nice after I did some mods to it but this one just blows it away.

This is the same card that Mike Parker was using in this thread

There is nothing newer than this. Is there?

Walter, are you saying that the Moome card that Mike worked on last week is already different, and you have A Proto-type Moome card, or did you mod the Moome card yourself?

Or, are you busting Chops?

Yes, it's the exact same card used in that thread. And no, there's nothing newer.

You may have the first one with the changes, but it's the same work from a month ago.

Not sure why you would have to make changes to the PS, unless it somehow has something to do with the version card that you have, but there's no reason at all to do anything to the PS on the Marquee board.

Hi Mike,

Yes it is the same board as the one you have but there is an additional daughter board on this version I have. SO to correct you yes this is a newer version of that board. Yes I did make some changes and some additions to the PS as I wasn't putting into a Marquee I was installing it into my 1200x so it required a reg and the associated components as well as some filtering before the reg.

I don't understand what you meant by it's the same work from a month ago.

Walt,
I'm very aware of what Moome is doing, and has done to the cards. So when I said what I said, it was because of what I KNOW first hand.

I'm not surprised to read that you've made some changes, and would have been really surprised to have read that you left the card version as is.

But for anyone getting these cards, there's absolutely no need to make any further changes to these cards. These latest changes were well tested by me and someone else, to include extensive testing by Moome.

And as I've said before in another discussion between you and me, "Moome has done very well in the PS rails on his latest card". The only changes we made to the power rails was only because of the changes that i had made.

I'm not at liberty to discuss what has been going on between me and Moome. But what I can say is, a lot of testing was done over the past two months with these cards by both Moome, myself and one other person. So much so, that even if you ran the cards using batteries (totally noiseless supply), you would not see a difference in the image.

HI Mike,

No disrespect or anything but you don't know everything that has been going on with Moomes cards. Moome and I go back abour 4 years of working together on his products so I think I have a pretty good idea of what is happening with every version he builds or changes.

Yes the card I have does have some differences from the card you have and no these changes have nothing to do with what you did to the card you have.

I sent Moome a PM already and waiting for his response...

So are you once more assuming, or are you saying that rather than me having first hand knowledge here, you're the one who really knows what's going on?

Well Mike I guess if you didn't have any knowledge of the latest changes made then on the board I just recieved then I guess my answer would be yes I do have first hand knowledge and I'm not assuming anything here.

I'm not saying Moome directly discussed your mods with me, he respected your work and the secrecy you like to keep. So don't be jumping all over him about this, what did you expect that after working with him for 4 years that we never talk about changes or things that should be changed etc. come on Mike.
