Hi everyone on the forum!

First of all my appreciation goes to the perfectly crafted guide which is sticked here. It brought light where I had only shadows. Being a very very newbie in LCD Calibration is not nice when you get such a nice TV...

So... on with the description:

yesterday I finally got my EyeOne Display LT and DVE HD Basics Blu-Ray, so after work I run home and installed everything.

Of course... I had issues with EyeOne.dll, but after 3 hours of trial and error (being a software developer I should have taken a more "scientific" approach, I know...) I finally managed to "Calibrate internal sensor offsets".

I then took on the greyscale calibration with the 0-100 IRE readings. I was astonished from some of the results given with default TV settings. The Luminance Graph average line was basically identical to the ideal line, Gamma was very close, BUT... DeltaE values where very far from being good.

So I started calibrating and now have quite (not enough I think) good DeltaE values, but Luminance and Gamma look a lot worst. I will link the BEFORE and AFTER .chc files later (need to run home and pick them up).

Can you give me some advise, please?

I hope managing to get good settings so I can share them here, since it seems no one with my same display has done it yet.

Thank you very much,
Ciccio-

EDIT:

PS: Anyone knows a way to access Service Menus?

Thank you.

I just finished a new grayscale calibration round and I got very good values (I think).

My "RGB Levels" and "Color Temperature" graphs are really good, while the "Luminance" and "Gamma" ones are worst then the original settings.

How to sort this issue out, please? What would be a good compromise?

Thank you,
Ciccio-

PS: I attach .chc file.

here are my settings for the above file. I use Italian menu, so sorry if some item is not translated properly; I will list then in order, anyway:

Which display do you need access into the service menu? You have 2 listed.

Ok. I still dont have access to all of my manuals but I think this is it for your model. With the tv on and in standby mode, on the remote push: on screen display, the number 5, the volume +, and the TV button. Let me know if this is correct and I can give you more info on the service menu.
