Best Buy has an exclusive: The Police - Certifiable - Live In concert from their most recent tour. I just picked up the BD version today. Haven't watched it yet, but will fo-sho this weekend.

We saw them right after they started their tour. (That was the 4th time seeing them Cool .) They were great!

Believe this or not, they are also producing a 3 premium vinyl set. Who says vinyl and analog is dead! BAH! Hum-Bug!!!! I'll probably pick that up as well.

Well,,,,,, we watched the show last night. My review: Thumbs Down .

Video - Camera shots were 3-4 seconds at the most. I thought I was going to get sea-sick. HD side of things, you almost don't get a chance to enjoy the HD experience as the camera shots change too fast.

Sound - Decent. But, as we noticed when we saw the group about 6 months ago right after they first started the US tour, every song was done a little faster than normal. I assume this was done to get all the BIG hits in during one concert.

We will probably watch again, but, not what we were hoping for.

Not sure I will purchase the vinyl version of this.

I bought both and did not watch the BD yet but have listened to the Vinyl a few times it sounds good. It also has a digital download too so it was worth
the 25 dollars for the Vinyl especialy if you are an analog freak !

I don't have PF on BD, only on DVD, TS, and homemade HDDVD, which you're welcome to use.

Maybe you're thinking KB1&2 on Blu?

Is the homemade HD better than dvd? I don't have anything to run the ts files (htpc is not hooked-up).

No contest! homemade hd looks much better!

I am going to be tied up until after 4:00 today unless you want to stop by and make a quick trade. Otherwise, I'll swing by your place after my physical therapy Evil or Very Mad (OUCH!!!!). That should be around 4:00 to 4:30, I hope.

Sorry... I just checked my shelf... I never burned PF to HDDVD because the ts was too large for a single DL.

But I've been meaning to check to see if the PS3 can play .ts/mpeg2 from a USB/CF/SD, so let me search for the latest info.

No problem. You still want to borrow the Police BD?

Sure, I'd like to check it out.

I've got a stack of other BDs if you're still looking for weekend entertainment.
