Pioneer is one of the worst to find manuals for. They even charge for their user manuals. Most other manufacturers have them available for free. I could link you to a user manual that is available for purchase. I checked the sites I get a lot of stuff from but they dont have it. I do have a bunch of Pioneer service bulletins if that will help. Is there a problem or are you just looking for the manual?

Hi Mac, good to see you around.
I have a guy that's trying to get his Samsung BD-UP5000---- HDFury2---&--Pioneer 620HD to play nice together. I've never owned a Pioneer ( I passed on one 2 years ago, still kicking myself for that one ) I know the HDFury2, I have the manual for the Samsung Bluray but I don't know if you have to set the inputs up on the Pioneer like you have to with some of the other TV's. Will the component inputs auto detect 1080i when they have been recieving 480P or do you have to set that in the menu?

Pioneer will always auto-detect the format. You can try sticking the Fury directly on the RGB input so you don't use up one of the component inputs. I will!
I will be posting some Pioneer calibration tips in a new thread for the benefit of others.

Wow there are alot of you A/V types in Ottawa. It must get boring out there in the winter so you all migrate to your theaters.
Which HDFury are you going to try? The HDFury1 or HDFury2?
Thanks for the autoswitch info.

I passed on an external box for cheap. I didn't need it at the time. Now I'd love to have it to do an A/B with the HDFury2.
