As far as I can tell (and confirmed via the Mux-HD product page) my Mux-HD will only pass SPDIF audio (2-channel PCM and compressed DTS/Dolby Digital) via the SPDIF optical port. Any chance we'll see a future version that will be able to pass full 7.1 uncompresed PCM (i.e. the new HD audio codecs) via HDMI (or is this possible with the current version and I'm just missing something)?
