If by "modern" you mean "digital", very few here would agree that was better than a $200. crt projector...

certainly not something to sneeze at! What model Vidikron?
But then, $200 is only $200 bucks. and for a machine with the only damaged tube still being around the 6-7 mark you can
hardly complain.
Just the remote thing now! I've e-mailed the guy- see if he had it floating around, may get lucky.
