Hi, I'm having some problems with my Sony 1272Q. When powered on, it makes a loud buzzing noise, and the picture is a little wavy. The buzzing changes pitch, volume etc when the image on the screen changes, or if I use a different input. Also, it doesn't post any error numbers.

I listened around on it, and it seems to be coming from inside the power block. I've been looking for a replacement, and may be able to get one from a 1270 (if I didn't wait too long).

Is the power block in a 1270 interchangeable with one in a 1272? (I think it's a rev 1)

Thanks for any help!

No the 1270 will not work
You need one from a 1252 or 1272
