I have been playing with the IFB card, which arrived today. Plugged into the G90 and a quick first try yielded great images at 1080i, into a Classe SSP800 from a little Samsung 1500 BD player then via a 35 ft HDMI cable to the pj.
Issues
1. The board arrived with no instructions. I am using the posted ones for what I think is a previous card.
2. The remote does not appear to do anything.
3. Switching the Samsung to 1080p yields a very poor image. The Classe reports 1080p, 60fps. When I try 24 fps I lose syc. Same thing if I go direct from the player to the pj. This problem with 1080p is a surprise. No issues with the same player and movies on my 1080p Kuro so the problem is not the player.
4. I set it up (1080i) with the BD Video Essentials disc. PJ at 42 bright and 55 contrast. Pluge is just visible, no blooming but good whites. Color adjusted and 50 is fine for color and hue. Again, great images but colors are a bit washed out compared to my Theta Voyageur when playing standard movies via component. Washed out appearance still there with BDs. Bright areas have that hazy look and gray ramps look too gradual at the bright end. Whites are compressed so time to twiddle gamma and contrast. No joy. The screws appear to do nothing, despite 25 revs in either direction.
Any suggestions?

I am just getting my new IFB card installed and setup as well. It seems to me also that the remote is doing nothing. The yellow light is sporadic at best when I push gamma buttons on the remote, and I can see no discernible difference in image. This is my third moome card. Other two (dvi and hdmi with gamma, non remote controlled) worked without a hitch. Am I retarded (yes)? Or are we missing something here? Anyone have any observations of the yellow lights response to remote commands?

I found on my VIM-HD ( Marquee) cards that the remote sensor was pushed in a bit, i pulled the card and pushed it out some so it would "see" the IR signal better.
The only way to see the Gamma work well is to put up an 11 step grey scale ramp and turn the gamma off on the card i think its turning it CW.
Then use the remote and bump up the gamma , watch the yellow light blink i think it has 20 steps, if it stays lit it reached its max, in either dirrection.
If you think it still dosnt have enough boost, back down the remote 10 clicks watching the light blink for each click, then turn the screw for gamma CCW
till you notice some increase in the lowest of the grey scale ramp. stop there, then use the remote to go up or down as you like. it may the reverse for turning the gamma off on the card but if it is just do what i said in reverse.

Misery loves company...
I have the same issues and have repeatedly tried everything in the on-line manual. Obviously, there is a problem with my card. It receives the HDTV signal at 720p, so that works but there is no way gamma adjustments can be made by using the remote or set screw. It's apparent that there are some issues and I guess, like you guys, I will have to seek a replacement or write it off as a loss.

My apologies Mr Moome, I have not contacted you yet. It is only because out of the box, my Moome IFB-HD card works and looks very good in my Sony G70. The one time I actually tried to adjust the gamma settings was actually only a half hearted attempt i.e. I was not in calibration mode with a test disc playing, doing a proper greyscale with my new CalMan and chroma 5. I just had the machine on an was fiddling with my card trying to see if I could notice any difference. It did not seem as though the yellow light was responding to each press of the button to increase or decrease gamma. Not even with brand new batteries. And I really wasn't sure what the hell I was doing turning the little trim pots. So I gave up until I have enough knowledge to do a proper color and grey scale calibration. But I have absolutely no way to confirm or deny this light issue as I still have not yet completed a formal calibration and as I am mostly ignorant in the ways of calibration and Moome gamma adjustment. I was respectfully going to withhold comment until I knew more.
Thank you again for your hard work Mr Moome. I really appreciate your card in my projector. It still works great even if I don't know yet how to fine tune it & I actually can't wait to do just that.

Hi,
before sending to moome, I would like to know if I do something wrong.
I have bought ht PJI-HD in May 2008 for my Sony VPH 1252QM. set the jumper on 2nd position.. and inserted the card.
But at that moment I hadn't any HDMI device yet.. and planned to buy shortly... but I had to postpone to buy a BluRay Player, until this Week-End. I received my Sony BDP-S550 today (yes it's sunday, i know )
In the Video Outpout settings menu of the sony, the HDMI is grayed (I can assume it doesn't detect any HDMI device). but the PJI-HD card is selected (Red led on), and the orange led is on... but I have no image... the VPH tells me "no video input".
what I am doing wrong ?
