Here's a few more...

1. The rescue of Morpheus or "Holy sh*t" Shocked (The Matrix. B/R)
It s kinda dark, there's a lot of motion w/ the bullets and concrete flying. Its a workout for your audio system as well and there in the middle... the explosion..."There is no spoon" .. well cheap subs beware!!!!!. And if you let it go a little longer... the part when the helicopter crashes....many a dvd player chokes on the graphics/film portion there. Wink

2. The Chariot Race (Ben Hur. DVD)
A film CLASSIC! The chariot race in the re-mastered dvd looks very good. Colorful, bright. The surround sound leaves a bit to be desired but overall its great!. Cecil B. Knew what he was doing.

3. THE ASTEROID FIELD (Attack of the Clones. DVD)
The darkness of space. Dotted w/ distant stars. The explosions are almost real! A Great scene!

Oh, I just thought of a good one. I'm not sure if this has been released in high def yet but it even looks and sounds good on regular DVD. Check out Titan A.E. for some great low frequency effects and dynamic audio. It's animated so of course the video looks great. I think this is another one that Clarence had on one of his old demo discs.

T&A is what it is all about. Then again, I am not trying to impress anyone, let alone children.

Can someone please tell me what that oil movie above is called? been wanting to see it and then forgot about it. Confused

It's called "There Will Be Blood". I want to see it too!

There Will Be Blood had its moments. Eastern Promises was probably my favorite movie of 2007 though. That was a good move of Universal to get it on Blu-ray after having it exclusively on HD DVD. Now they just need to do up Army of Darkness on Blu-ray. Of course, I already have it on 8-track, err, HD DVD.

Ah yes, the clip commonly referred to as the "lobby shooting spree" scene. That was one of my "blow people's minds" clips for years even before I built my HT. The bass line in the music during the shootout, the falling brass, breaking building pieces, the dynamics... the sound is awesome. Oh, and you HAVE to let it run until the helicopter crashes! It's not even optional. Wink
