I'm all for democracy.
I vote for no politics on the CRT forums.
I'm sure there are lots of political forums around. I get enough depression at work. I don't need that on my valuable leisure time.

Agreed! Let's get back to the time wasting leisurely principles that made this forum a great place to hang out! Take your political opinions and arguments elsewhere. It's gotten out of control. Some of you that are the biggest "offenders" are also some of the most helpful of us here and your time could be better spent answering questions of desperate new CRT owners.

The point I was trying to make is perhaps we need a separate political forum. I think most here would post political threads there rather then in the only forum available the off topic forum. It would be nice as a club member to be able to block individual forums we may not be interested in as when your a club member you only see the latest posts in each forum.

Being more interested in the CRT and the off topic forum it kind of gets crowded out by forums I could care less about.

As for club membership I think that's a good thing and after the elections I plan to reinstate mine.
We all need to support this forum and yes we should spend more time talking about CRT's and HT's but the off topic forum is nice to have when it's slow. Smile

Kal,

add a Politics Club and charge everyone that wants to read it or post there.

If they are truly interested in politics they will pay for access. Otherwise one would have to assume that the likes of ronholm or Gary M. just want to stir up sh*t.
