"RUNCO HDTV PROJECTOR DTV-950 THAT WAS OBTAINED FROM A SPORTSBAR"
Hmm... Sports Bar... 6 days/wk... 12 hrs/day... 5 years... my guess is 18,720 hours.
If I win, donate the cat to your local Chinese take-out establishment.
If it was an Ampro, I'd guess 200 hours... they usually fail before they rack up any hours.

Yes, and it's REALLY easy to reset them if you don't watch the screen REALLY carefully. NEC hour meters are useless therefore, pop the lenses and show us some tube faces!

What Curt said....
The seller who "didn't know how to work it" likely reset them to zero just in case anyone asked...

Hey, it's in Charlotte! I can think of a few places it might have come out of. I bet the tubes are like pumpernickel toast.

based on the ebay description I was expecting 20000 hours, cigarette butts, burnt tubes and barf. Turns out the darn thing fired right up- 300 hours. Think I'll give the seller bad feedback for incorrect description on item.

Lucky catch i'd say. The green crt will likely have the most wear, if there is any. I have a 6PG myself. They are nice machines, throw a good 720p picture when properly set up.

Pay attention to the powersupply!
And don't try this with digital ones.

OK, that is positively NASTY. I'm not sure if I could bring myself to even bring that projector into my house. It might be relegated to the garage. I think I'd put on a roof-toop carrier and go through an automatic car wash.

Hmmm I've done engines out of the car at the car wash. Never occured to me to do projectors.
