What ever happened to the fiber optic video distribution system you were working on. That was slick. I wonder if that system could transmit HDMI also?

Say Chip
The system was pretty specific, RGBS or RGBHV only. The bug I found was that the system had automatic gain control, using a reference pulse from the sender, timed in the vertical interval. Computers were ok with that pulse but HDTV had a conflict, which caused flashing on the screen. This required a small shift in the vertical position; an Extron interface with V shift solved the timing issue. I used this successfully for several years on a Directv satellite tuner. When I went to Dish Network, their tuner gave component out so I positioned it closer to my projector and the fiber optic rig was shelved. Neat stuff anyway.

When you sent it to me for evaluation, it worked perfectly with both my DVD /scaler combo and my Sony SATHD 200 directv receiver switched via NEC 6010. At that time though I think you only had RGBS available, I don't think RGBHV was a option. It really would be the cat's backside if you could have got all the info to go down one pipe and shrink the receiver end down to the size of a Marquee input card
