Thanks to help from this forum my Barcodata 701s is up and running again. Unfortunately the saga continues. Video converges decently after a little tweaking, but has some anomalies. Dark lines cover the video depending on what is being displayed at the time. Since I don't have the ability to articulate what I mean I'll demonstrate directly.

Here are two videos of what I mean. The first is of the screen, the second of the tubes. I didn't see this one in the troubleshooting section so I thought one of you all may have some insight.

Any suggestions appreciated as always.

What resolution and scan rate are you running? it looks like it might be too high for the PJ, i see this on my Marquee when i try to push it higher. See if it hapens at alower rate or resolution.

That could be it. It could also be the H phase control is set off too much. That's in the geometry menu at the top.

Well its certainly not a scanrate that the proj can't handle. Its plain old prog scan dvd 31.x kHz. Interestingly enough when I tried block 5 rather than 6 the problem disappeared, so you're probably right that there was some problem with the geometry. I'll try copying block 5 to block 6 and see if it works on both to eliminate a variable. Slightly OT, Curt, are 701 convergence boards part of the recent board sale?

Yes, but so far the two sets I've parted out had bad convergence boards..

I've got 2 more to look at today, I'm sure they will be OK.
