I gave up on this projector awhile back and recently decided to give it another try. When you go to the main menu there is a "F" in the top left corner where you would normally get an "S" for service mode. I have tried every trick posted to get in the service mode. No luck. Does anyone know what the heck "F" stands for?

The Projector is saying "FU for giving up on me so easily". It will probably calm down in a day or two, just keeping saying sorry.
Sorry, don't have the real answer for you.

I was gonna put that in the original plea for help, but I figured why supply the ammo.
I have posted this question before in different forums and no one has ever been able to answer. The projector has a great image, if I can just get into service mode for adjustments I'll replace my 1272.

Vibe beat me to it..
I do have a bunch of scrap D50s here with toasted tubes. If you want to swap out A boards (CPU and video input board), I'll get you into one cheap.
Otherwise, you might be 'F'ed forever.
Damn, I crack myself up!
