Nec PG 6 Resolution issue

I have trying to have this projector resove 1280x1024 but it will not resove its all out of wack it just flickers.

is there a way to Have the new resolutions settings all set to 0 because it beleive this is the problem.

I am new to the Nec pg projector, I have only had barcos prior.

With the control you want to null highlighted, hit CTL and NORMAL at the same time, a box will come up asking if you want to Load or Cancel, choose Cancel and then choose Yes to confirm it. You can do all the Convergence, Alignment, Focus, Kelvin, pretty much all whole sections at once. At least, you can on an XG, its been a while since I've had a PG in the house...

Well the manual say it can display 1280x1024 but is over the H limit so that why I can get the picture up.

i have the same pj and ive read the book,but ive been told not to exceed 720 p on the machine,i tried to set that res from my comp and the deflection board died,the help i got also cooked all of my tubes for me[not my fault] bad tech.... Sad so id be lookin for the 720 p,,,,,,,talk to curt hell agree

1280x1024 on a PG is simply foolish....who would ever want or need to use that resolution? What material are you viewing?

I tried 1280x1024 on my 6pg, did not lock. There is no real reason to use that resolution anyway as said above. 720p is the sweet spot for this projector. If you need to run a 4:3 rez then 1024x768 is where it is at.

1080i60 or 1080i72 should actually look better than 720p60 if set up properly.
