On shutdown my BD1100 produces bright spots on each tube (Red is offline to be replaced). The set has 75mhz RGB output amps from an 801 which should protect from spot burn. I have swaped out the Quad decoder/RGB input board which has spot protection circuit on it but the spots persist.

I have added a H-Shift and Horrizontal Output board from a BG800 which I will swap out just to eliminate them.

What is causing the spots an each tube and why doesn't the protection offered by the 801 output amps simply prevent it?

For all those who looked and then clicked on another topic. Problem solved it was the RGB switcher board. I have no idea why this board would cause this problem but maybe some one else does!!!
