All the green lights on the power supply where green but I had red lights 1 and 5 blinking on the cpu board. Don't know what that means?

Just so you know, the internal test patterns will go off and into standby after about three minutes with no input from the remote. That is normal.

Greg, be careful! Playing with a projector with suspected deflection problems is dangerous to your CRTs condition. Bad things can happen. If you want to check things out then disable the High Voltage power. The tubes are safe without HV. Unplug your projector from the wall socket. Wait a few minutes for things to discharge. Unplug P44A from J44A on the mother bd. It's right in front of the Spellman. The high voltage will not come up. No picture but you can check for deflection by running 30 code. It will say HV low, G-2 low, and G-1 low. If it also says HORZ SWEEP FAIL then you do indeed have problems and you should send your boards to Curt.
Make sure you unplug the projector from the AC power and wait a few minutes before plugging in P44A.

Connect it to a source. For practice try something easy like XGA (800X600). A lower resolution will be easier to learn on then going straight to 1080P. Turn it on and wait for it to light up. Press the help button and follow the instructions for a guided setup. Just do what it says in the order it tells you to and you'll have it up and running in no time. You will need a couple of tools though. 1- 5/16 long ball driver for the lens flapping adjustments, a 7/16 combination wrench or socket and a smaller allen wrench (can't remember what size) for the lens toe-in. Don't worry about Pete not being able to follow instructions and get frustrated to the point of discounting a superior product. He couldn't do it (I think you have to ba able to read) and settled for a lessor projector (Barco)

I can't speak for the Barco but in stock form, a 3600 (in the right hands) CAN do 1080P in the 16:9 format. That is exactly where the scan-lines touch each other. I have not tried modding one with different lenses, even though I have them. I just have not had time.

I have owned 9" machines and I don't see the need since I don't run 1080P. My shorter throw distance requires me to use hd145/144 since I am using a 159" screen. The Ampro should give me a sharper picture because of the zone processing from what I read.
I will have questions when I start setting up the projector and look forward to your advice.
