In the SW suburbs of Chicago my friends have a BIG BBQ party... Lots of good times and LOTS of good food. This was Labor Day Sunday: Guy in the firemans' hat is my buddy Dave, big dude is one of the 85 or so close friends that get hosted by the four families that put this shindig together.
As you can see, we're pretty serious about pig! There were also Deep Fried turkeys and cocktail weenie corn dogs provided by the principles, and all the guests are BYOB and a side dish or desert.

Funny part is, we have to import pork ribs TO Chicago from Detroit... You just can't get good pig in Chicago, hog butcher to the world. Seems like everything worthwhile is exported from that town.

In addition to those being some very sweet-looking babes (duh!) -- Pete, it looks like you've stepped up your game. Those shots are really nice. Some of the best-looking work I've seen you post. Practice makes perfect?

Innuendo? That's Italian for "suppository" isn't it?
