I've got a decent 09MEX tube that I'll mount in the housing and verify one way or the other if this type will work. I have some focus mags that are the same size as the 2222 types but with the correct windings for the 4200 focus modulator. I'm thinking the focus can be improved with these.

I wonder how Scott is making out with the tube melding project. I still have that 4200 (Sony) neck board modded to take a P19 if he can come up with a tube.
