When the screen is black I see a very faint vertical line on the left side of the screen (ceiling mounted pj)...I remember reading about a mod to compensate this.....anyone familiar with this "feature" or the mod?

I have the same 'problem' with my 8500. I often thought of correcting it but it's only mildly noticeable watching a movie... but not so bad the Rainman part of me would obsess on it and ruin the flick. Laughing

There's supposed to be a drawing to assist but it doesn't show in my version of MS Word for some reason. (MS Word 2003 SP3)

That's for bright vertical line. As for faint vertical line the correct link is
