An 8" C element won't fit on a 9" tube Thumbs Up
The Red and Green C elements are needed to get the primaries closer to optimal.

Are you sure and 8 inch and 9 inch are different? I think they are the same size, as the marquee's use the same LC housings and the same lens's so they must be the same size, I think these also work in the G90 and the G70's as i read somewhere that the G90's green C-element was too light and some use the marquees Green C element to correct it.

The Marquee is the only one that uses 9" housings and optics for 8" tubes (except for Ile's special)
G70 lenses and c-elements are much smaller, same as NEC LC, and some Barco. More
confusion exists since there are at least three types of 8" c-elements that I have seen.
One for the HD-18 lenses, another for HD117, and yet another slightly smaller one for
the rear projection sets. None interchangeable.

From what Chuchuf said on an avs site is that VDC was suppose to continue to supply C-elements for PJ's. this was part of the buy out agreement. So if you still need any typ of C-element they are the ones who should still have them but from the way they are doing things lately it might be harder to get a definitive answer from them on price and long term availability. just like not selling us Bellows(most likely because of the undercutting price of LUG's over at Tubular outlet)
