Looks just like my DTV-1100, in a different case. The HFQ-900 lenses I have are all aluminum housings.... What's the difference?

Not just a different case, the DTV 1200 is a Cine 9 aka BR 909. Nice machine Smile

Nice stuff indeed. But a Cine 9 is only a crippled version of the BR 909 Wink

That doesn't matter to me as I'm deaf (yes, not trying to be funny). So a 909 is the perfect projector for me.

I don't think there is anything crippled about the DTV1200 comparing it to the 909.

Think I prefer the blue and silver finish on the Cine 9. Can someone conform that the HD10E lens is identical to the HFQ900

It needs even bigger fans for Peter to get a feel for the movie, saves on a rotary subwoofer;-).

Isn't that the same town the Mike Parker is from? I seem to remember that he had one in his shop. Doesn't it seem odd that two of them are in the same town?

Not me, I don't have any 909's or Cine9's.
But the projector is in the same state as I'm located.

it's a customer of Terry's. He's selling the Barco to pay for a G90 stack. Mr. Green
Looks like a nice machine but I would be hard pressed to pay $12K for any CRt today, even a Cine 9.

Yeah especially since you could ask Curt for one of his 909's for 4k less. Shocked
