Hi again everybody. Smile
I've a question about achieving sharpness/clarity:

I know that the size of the tubes (7, 8, 9) has the biggest effect, but would moving the projector closer to the screen - and projecting onto a smaller-sized screen as a result - add sharpness too?...or only brightness?

Okay, thanks, bye! Smile

It would add brightness but other than that you won't really gain anything. The projector would be displaying the same amount of detail; it would just be condensed into a smaller area.

As for blocking the picture, I've had my projector on a four foot high dresser with me sitting right in front of it. At this position my head wouldn't block anything and the screen was so big that I was looking up at the picture. I've sat as close as four feet away but I was sitting off to one side while playing halo3. This close, it is impossible to see the entire screen without moving your head around. It worked perfectly for Halo as I only needed to see the bottom right corner but would be uncomfortable for a movie.

My 2Cents,

-Greg
