WE ARE NOT SELLING THE SET!!!

If we get to keep it assuming Canadian Freight/Epic don't want it, I'll probably take some of the boards back and will get the customer to list the lenses here for the hassle he's gone through.

Give it a few weeks, if anything is available, we'll let you know.

LOL, you know I was actually insulted back when Mark Haflich first used that term to describe the current CRT "market". Surprised

It's understandable to get that feeling when talking to Mark. After all, he is a lawyer by trade Rolling Eyes . Talk about the pot and kettle thing. Laughing
Lawyers and bottom feeders in the same sentance. Kinda like pea's and carrots...

I take objection to being refered to as a vulture and bottom feeder, not all of us have the luxury of having a couple of spares machines like the vulture refering poster, we are all a group of enthusiasts trying to maintain a format which is no longer current. In Australia we do not get G70's advertised for $400-600 they are more like $2000-3000 in fact when I was looking for mine I was offered one for $5000 from an Australian member of this forum, naturally I declined. So as I am looking for new blue and green tubes and Curt mentioned the blue tube was undamaged I asked the question, I do not consider this action makes me a vulture or bottom feeder.
If any member in Australia can offer me a parts machine with good blue and green tubes for $400-500 please contact me.

If you consider that most machine are not and have not been in production for 10 years, does this not make eveyone looking for a part a vulture or bottom feeder. or just looking for a spare part at a fair price to maintain our hobby?.

Geeze, get over it. A couple of friendly pokes and people get so huffy. Try owning a AmPro for a couple of years and see how many jabs you have to take. Don't forget, Lobster's are bottom feeders too Laughing

Well it's perfectly fine to look for used parts and tubes. There's at least 6 other people who have posted WTB adds in the buy/sell section who are also looking for good used G70 tubes. the reason you got razzed in this thread is it was a thread about freight damage, not a place to sell parts. I don't think all the criticism was directed at you but to jump right into a thread about a smashed PJ looking to scavenge parts is a little bottom feeder-ish, don't ya think? Curt is a known supplier fo parts and it's not like he's going to sell pieces from this one for 50% off just because it got damaged. niether he nor anyone lese is going to sell clean B + G tubes that cost $1300. new for $400. either. You have to be a little more realistic about what you can find and how much it will cost.

I do not see any reference to offering $400 for a tube, merely the price that you guys in USA can pick up a spares set.
Also there was the invitation by Curt to play along which is what happened, until the accusation of "vultures and bottom feeders" came along. Get off your bike and accept the banter for what it is instead of trying to make it something else.

I hope no one get's too offended and feels like they need to quit posting here. I've been called much worse than "vulture and bottome feeder, F-in A-hole is usually my nick-name on the forums. It's obvious that the CRT market has changed drastically and I have slowly grown to accept that as CRT continues to become more a niche market we're going to be seeing a lot more of these Laughing

No Dragan I am not offended or will I not continue to post here. Seriously if I thought Curt would be selling the blue tube I would have sent him a PM, instead of throwing it open on the forum.
No offence taken or given, at my age you do not get bothered by this sort of thing.
