8 foot wide (110" diagonal) screen here, sitting about 10-12 feet back with full 5.1 sound. About 100 hours into Oblivion. It's dizzying at times. The immersion factor is fantastic: All the lights off and walking around during a night scene with the stars out. Looks so damned real.

Ok, ok... some of stuff looks odd I'll admit! Without the motion too it's not as engaging either and doesn't feel "real". You don't see leaves and grass moving, animals and people moving about, or hear birds chirping, water flowing, etc. in screenshots. Not to mention the environmental effects like dusk ,dawn, night, rain, fog, etc.
Here are some better ones (I think). Nobody's going to mistake this for "real life" but I still think it's pretty amazing what they've been able to create, especially considering the scale and scale of the world. Sorry - this is completely off-topic!

I don't know. You really should use your camera more often and look at the world outside. It's much more beautiful than anything in those screenshots

Kal, You should look into some mods for oblivion, it can be made to look beautiful.
