New to CRT PJ and cant figure this one out for the life of me.
I cant figure out what the horizontal lines on the picture in the darker images is. It appears to be in the blue realm, but I am not sure
I am running a progressive DVD player with a composite transcoder to the RGBHV input in the back of the CRT.
Thanks
Adam

Adam disconnect all input sources. Do you still see the diagonal lines with no input signal ? Next reduce brightness and contrast and look through the lenses at the CRT's themselves.

I have a spare PJ of the same specs with a very burnt blue.
Which should I try first?

Swap the Blue neck board. Sounds like a G2 short in the CRT though. Did it just suddenly happen ?

Just changed the neck board and the lines appear to be lessend but when I viewed the tube with no input there was a constant blue flash at the bottom of the face. Is that a bad thing? it does not do that with the inpout on.

Sure of what the tube face or another movie?
It would be neat to see if the Sencore would help the tube.

I cant get it to show the little flare of the bottom after it has warmed up and the movie has been going for a while, not even the lines are apparent.
Ill try tomorrow.
