Hey Cliffy, Bomrat, anyone else in the Chicago area that can do a couple of BArco setups for me? I have a potential customer that wants to buy 2-3 Barcos for an art exhibit. He can deal with the cabling/source issues, but has not set up a CRT before. My understanding is that he can get the sets hung at the right distance, etc, but wants someone to do a final calibration. I'll link him to this thread, but pls post here so that you two can get connected.

Thanks!

Inquiring minds want to know, what are they looking at? 800's or 909's?

If neither of you guys can do it, I probably can. I would consider myself an amateur calibrator, but I could get the job done.

Curt,

Call Euclid @ Synthesis A/V (you two have spoken a few times) @ 312 644 2142...

He is one of the few left in chicago that even remembers what a CRT is... Thats where I got my Zenith, and he has one in his home as well....

Right, I forgot about Euclid.. good call.

This deal won't take place for a bit, so I'll look this thread up once the deal goes through.

Not sure on the projectors yet either. Cine 7s are speced, I've got those in stock, but they might go a bit higher end.

Call Ken Whitcomb at Calibrationsinc.com. He's one of the best in the business and he travels to Chicago frequently.

I'll be in the neighborhood around Labor Day for One Big Chicago-Style 'Que. Where is the job?
