Where do I find the black velvet tape for the border on my screen? I've found some on ebay but it's way overpriced. Is there a source for it that is more reasonable?

I have a roll of the Duvetyne. Bought it from findtape.com based on hearing about it in other forums. It's decent, but it is NOT the same as flocked tape. Not nearly as nice looking. Has kind of flat, but slightly shiny look to it. Imagine if you took a piece of felt, and squished it for a month under 500 lbs of books so it was all matted down and 1/3 its previous thickness. That's what it looked like. I'll sell it to you cheap if you want it because I want to spend more money and buy the nicer flocked tape. I have a 4" roll, I think.

Damn. OK. I'll be interested to see what you think of it. IMHO, it *looks* as cheap is it was compared to the nice velvety flock tape. I look cheap, but only if it doesn't look that way. I'm going to put my Duvetyne on fleabay or sell it here cheap and order the flock tape. I'm really anxious to get a border on my screen after using my theater for a year without. Rolling Eyes

The tape came in today. It's not as nice as the real velvety stuff but after running a lint roller over it a few times the nap of the felt stood right up. Not too bad, I'll use it.
