Hammerhead is in your neck'o'the woods... perhaps they have Sencore CR.
I'll tell you.. I was singularly unsuccessful trying to find a local shop that still has a CRT rejuvenator, and when I did it was well over an hour away and they wanted the whole set. (While the average RPTV repair shop MAY know what to do with a Marquee 9501LC, I have no faith that I can get it into my VW Jetta singlehanded!)

For a couple of weeks I was known as the 'zapper' in grade 11. I found an old 300 volt power supply in the physics room, and brought in an old can electrolytic that was rated at 350 volts. I'd charge it up, and go up next to some kid and discharge the two capacitor leads against a metal locker. Sparks would fly, and I'd threaten said kid with the now discharged capacitor. (I was a nerd, like my threats would fly..  )
But it was all a good joke until someone grabbed the fully charged cap out of my hands and put the two points against some kid's neck. Oops! No harm done, but someone got tasered, long before anyone knew the word.
About 2 weeks later we were studying static electricity in physics, and the teacher brought out a big ol' Van De Graff generator in front of the class, and with an evil eye asked me to touch the metal ball.
I did so, but with one hand in my pocket, figuring I'd outsmart the teacher. He then told me to touch the metal grounded faucet while I was touching the ball that he'd now unplugged. I knew that he knew about my capacitor experiments, and he got me back but good..

Curt, What do you think about the problem with my blue tube? Do I need to do the sencore thing? I have not swapped the neckboards yet.

Ahhh... can capacitors. Had lots of fun with them in High School (refrigeration trade school. From there to a major Mechanical Engineering university program... don't ask.)
Now I occasionally get to touch several farads (no, not puffs OR muffs) worth of capacitors charged to 800V. (Neodymium-Iron-Boron ceramic composite magnet charging coils... water cooled!)

Oops, sorry, forgot you wanted some input here..
I'd leave everything alone. If it really bothers you, then look for a Sencore, but I'd live with it as is and see if it goes away.

Itīs only flashing Full white ,You can try shorter time(8h)and if you afraid use only blue.

That's close to home, 12-14 miles by crow. I've actually been there hiking/camping when I was a Boy Scout... too long ago. We never had those GPS thingies, we had to use compasses and maps... and we got Merit Badges for it.

I had this problem with a p19lug it is contamination in the gun you can run g2 up high in cycles and it will eventually burn off. But if you are impatiant like me you can tap the metal housing with a hammer you will hear it pop every tim you tap and eventually it will fall out of the gun. Mind you you have to tap firmly to jossel the tube and not on the glass I have a post of this on here http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=107796&highlight=#107796

Last night when I shut it off it didn't do it. I turned it on and off again and it still didn't do it... I'm keepin' the hammer close by just in case it decide to start doing it again.

you probably burned it off you might be fine now. you really don't need the hammer you can do it with the g2 control but the hammer is so much faster  Did you move the projector lately?

I flipped it over and hung it on the ceiling a 2 or 3 months ago, have not moved it since. There was a power outage a few days prior to the blue spot though. Normally I shut down all signal before shutting off the projector. The outage killed everything at once, and possibly spiked a little. I usually have the pj on a ups but that day I had removed it for another use. It's back on it now.

A BIG thanks to those of you who suggested trying to run "crt run in cycle" as a possible solution! I've been experiencing problems with the raster always being lit and also flickering on the red tube (there were those diagonal lines present as well) for a LONG time now and when I ran the "crt run in cycle" for ~12h the problem went away. I was well on my way to change the tube when I happend to come across this discussion. I had never heard about contamination of tubes before.
