I have a Barco 1208 Graphics CRT projector and also a HD FURY for getting HDMI to RGBSV input. This FURY is the green version with 5 BNC breakout for RGBSV input to my BARCO. Can anyone tell me if there the 1208 is meant to automatically switch sync polarity when positive sync is applied from 720p, 1080i & 1080p sources. I checked the sync out of the FURY and it inverts from negative sync to positive sync when 720p or higher resolutions are selected. I have the HD FURY connected to my Denon DVD 1930. Any resolutions below 720p have negative sync and work fine. Can anyone advise if its meant to auto switch ? Maybe a link somewhere or a PCB board modification I need to do ?

Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Regards from Rod in Australia.

1208 port5 wont handle positive sync, exept 1024x768 res. Fury shouldn't switch sync polarity, so it's probably your source that switch it with higher res. You can try port3 or use Barco/Extron/etc sync box for conversion.
