|
|
So all my component interconnects are BJC Belden 7710A. These are thick, heavy, and not flexible. But I usually zip tie my cables to the back of the rack.
So, I'm back there doing stuff a year ago and I forgot to rezip tie the component cable from my JVC 30K D-VHS machine. Well, the weight of the cable has messed up the connector! I have to pull up on the cables to get them to work.
Live and learn, got to open the baby up and re-solder.
Zip tie those heavy cables!!!!

Does anyone use Panduit products? It seems like their vertical cable management product would help.

I use Panduit but not as much in recent times. In fact, the only time I use them is when I need to make an adjustment to the satellite cpax. I now buy monoprice cables.
