I'm playing on the X360 last night and then the image starts moving left and right about 1 to 2 inches and at a medium frequency. I don't know how long I was playing before it showed up. It would also randomly stop then start again. No discerrnable pattern. So I turned it off and came straight to the forum. I searched and could not find any instance of this in the old topics. I sat down and watched the Italian Job HD DVD today and no problem while watching. Then I threw in a game and within 10 minutes the problem is there.Tomorrow I will bring down the cable box to check to see if it is a source problem and not the PJ (NEC). Any thoughts?

Were the games 720P, and were the movies 1080i?

I use the VGA connection so I display 1280x768. I think it looks better than 1080i, plus it takes me along time to set up 1080i.

I had a thought this morning. Could it be noise on the input power? My house is in a neighborhood thats at the end of the line for everything; power, phone, cable. Broadband drop is very noticeable during peak times. Could power be the same way?

the image just started to "sway" about an inch each way, does not seem to be source bandwidth triggered, and comes and goes randomly? I had the same thing happening with my PG about 6 months ago-I used canned air and a vacuum to clean it out and reseated all the connections. At the time I was worried that it was the H-def board- but it seems to have gone away
