I have a black gloss Vidikron case and it has some light scratches on it. These are like the swirl marks that you often see on cars (for some reason I seem to always see this on black BMW's more then other cars). I think that they are actually from cleaning dust off of the case in the past.
I am guessing that you treat the case exactly like you would a car but I wanted to make sure waxing it wasn't a bad idea. Is there a better method for removing these swirl marks? Also the case has some matte gray around the lenses, do I need to be careful to keep wax off of the matte gray or can that be waxed also?
Thanks

You'll need to use a product such as ScratchX swirl remover It will take out those polishing mark's.
If you do wax it, make sure to mask off the matte paint first. I've never seen a product that can efectively remove wax from matte paint yet. Well you can use amonia but it's not always sucssful and it smell's like you had a band of Tom cat's in the house.
Also keep in mind you'll probably want a paste wax rather than a liquid. It stays put better.
Make sure to use an easy release masking tape such as one like this from 3M.
Then post some picture's of your work.

Thanks for the input, I think I will give this a try. I will post some pictures if I can track down a decent camera, I am guessing that my 2 MP cell phone camera won't be worth even trying
