|
|
I have just been given a good condition WS-65311 FOR FREE! It has a build date of Dec. 2002.
The person who gave it to me bought it new in Oct. 2003.
I was hoping Macguyver or one of the other RPTV guys could help me out here.
I need to correct a small geometry problem on the bottom right side of the screen. According to the user manual, I need to enter the service menu to do this. I have searched the web high and low for the service menu code, but can't seem to find the right one for this particular chassis. I have tried at least ten different codes with no luck.
I'm pretty sure this is a V20c chassis from the info I've gathered. Is there anyone here familiar with the V20c that has entered the service menu?
If so, which code did you use?
Thanks in advance,
C.

Ok, first I hope you have the original remote. If so then tune to a good pic channel. Then on the remote push menu 2259. If this gets you in, post back. I'll check here first thing in the morning. Good luck.

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!
Now I'm off to tweak.
Thank you Mac and Athanasios.

P.S. Analog, it wasn't exactly free. I got it for hanging a 65" Aquos in it's place. Took about 45 minutes.

MAN! What a downgrade! These Mitsu's will blow that flat pannel sh*t outta the room, down the block and into the sewer.
45 minute's ? Well that's almost free. Did you keep looking at it drooling?

That's the same set my son has. Best Buy set. When doing service menu convergence, remember to do it from the middle out. If not, you will be waisting your time. Good luck with the red push. Search the Yahoo forums for I squared C cable and software to tweak the Eprom. Brings back fond memories. It has RGBHV input. You will love the picture.

Actually, this set came from Custom Audio/Video Inc. out of Charleston, SC.
Thanks again for the info Mac and Athanasios.
I have dialed it in pretty good.
Here are a couple of bad shots with a 2MP kodak POS:
