Is it possible to calibrate with a light meter?

As I understand it from the guide you are trying to match the luminance in fL between the primaries right?
You could just as well use cd/m2 as I understand it.

You are also trying to get a linear response from 0-100% as gamma is just a way to compensate for the non linearity if the display device.
Or do you want a linear input in voltage (or digital) to give a non linear response in light output that follows a gamma curve of 2.2?
