I'm following Kals Grey scale for dummies guide and and attemoting to set the G2 correctly on my BD808s. With a windowed 0IRE display I can see the window begin to appear in the blue and green tube rasters as I slowly increase the G2 pots, thing is on my red tube I can barely see this window and the whole raster has got what appears to be a huge amount of static going through it.

It looks like the snow effect you would get on a tv screen.

anybody got any ideas on what could be causing this Faulty lead?, faulty tube?
