There is one simply way to shut him up. Have a screen shot shoot out. I am sure he has plenty of $$$ to pay a photographer to take pictures. Then post the results and leave them to a public pole. The screen shot that someone put up earlier with the xg135xc is WAY better than what he has. So it should be interesting to see what happens. I think the 1080p Fifth element is about as good as it gets.

Yes, Cliff's stack on top, but the digitals sit below for the shoot-out (pun intended 8) ). (Arli made the shelf at the last meet.)

I think maybe superkontrast could find a way to bring his stuff and let's do a real, in person shoot-out? No?

AHH I get it! NICE. Those things a freaking huge (SUPERKONTRAST)... DRINK electricity like a college guy drinks beer. Plus I think they are 220v maybe 3 phase. If Cliff has that power then I don't see why not.

I would PAY $ and I am sure everyone else on here would too. For the results of that. I think it would shut up digital guys for good.

Nope, 110V and my electricity bill is about 20 bucks higher a month from my THEATER.

I do have however 60 amp service via 220V to my theater though just in case I ever need it which I wont.

Thumbs Up

Cliff you know what would look nicer.... Some nice black carpet, maybe the easy to install stick on stuff that comes in squares. Also it help with room reflections for accoustic purposes.

I am sorry but the images he post to his "website" are flat.

I've actually done the test. I keep black velveteen in front of my screen and the difference is night and day.

I need to build a stage in the front but my job as a DAD and Husband as well as business partner as well as time from Arli prevent this.

Trust me and ask Curt, my setup rocks. Very Happy

He has nothing on this.....

http://www.seriouspc.com/300/3001/2.jpg

This guy with the DLP barco must be on drugs....he is in MIAMI

Best screen shot I could find.

http://www.cineramax.com/CES_2008/Superkontrast6.jpg

Screen door what

http://cineramax.com/CES_2008/super9.jpg

I have nothing against him... but I am sorry you simply cannot make the space between the mirrors small enough.
0.98 inch DLP Cinema® Chip, 2048 x 1080 Native Resolution

VS
9" CRT , 2500X2000

Its hard to compete when you are starting out with an image area that is 9x larger.

Who has data on the space between the chip in that projector vs a 9" LUG or something.

Cliff, if you cannot tell that the picture is of a G90 converged as good as it can get, then I have no time for your sniveling rants. you're simply jealous of what the SuperKontrast can do, far over your little G90 toy. Stop your constant drivel, it's making me ill, I have no time for you cretinous troglodytes.

I guess I won't be posting pictures for a while. All I have to say to these unscrupulous power mongers is... ... at least Popeye above doesn't drill through condominium penthouse tensioning wires...

This one is over the top when he talks about the tiny rears/sats.

Damn, I don't care how nice a picture that stack throws. I wouldn't invite anyone over until I did something better with that enclosure and that nasty-ass paint job. What did you do Cliff, drink a quart of black paint and piss on it Laughing

Assuming that humans are watching the image and not owls, this is a VERY incorrect statement.

Your logic here is flawed.

barcoguy wrote:

Space between the pixels in that chip should pretty much equal the space between scan lines of a good 9" doing 1080p.

Don't forget to put the seat's on haydaraulics so you can bounce them, spark a dewby, and put on Cheech and Chong's - Up In Smoke. When you get to the van scene you'll really feel like you're in the movie Mr. Green
