I don't understand what everyone is pi$$ing and moaning about. What did it have to do with the thread? It wasn't a screen shot now was it? Looks to me like someone was just testing the waters. We've all known for some time where the line is drawn there. If we choose to cross it. we get what's coming to us. That's why we are here. You can't honestly say it was unexpected, espcially with the man with the gum. The absolute best system in the world won't buy you immunity there.

you may have be somewhat correct but let me pose this question as frivolous as it may seem. What if cliff took that pic, projected it onto his Screen and took the shot then posted the corresponding picture. then it would have something to do with the thread, there are other posts in that thread and other threads that veer off topic and have nothing to do with the OP's intentions. Should those post be removed also? This was Just Cliffs way of celebrating 100,000 views to his thread he started, and he wanted to express his appreciation in only the way Cliff can, with his goofy and silly ways that most on AVS really love about him. I am merely sticking up for him, and others who maybe go a bit to far and are not given a chance to aleviate the problem on their own. Cliff should have received a PM from the Mods and asked to edit his post and explained why. instead of it being ripped out the way it was.

The post is pretty much inappropriate given the nature of the forum (as Curt said). Even if a screenshot, it is inappropriate. You honestly can't see why?

No I see why and it should have been removed if you would have quoted my entire quote you had have seen it was the way it was removed that i disagreed with, Cliff is a well known and long time member of the forum he should have recieved an email asking him to edit the post not have it removed, I think that would have shown more Character and Given Cliff an opportunity to apologize and do the right thing as I am sure Cliff would have done.
but thats just my opinion and other will have theirs fair enough.

Keep in mind that with the size of avs and with a moderating position not paying anything, I think a mod at this point over there has to scream through posts and delete what's required. I mean heck, even here I miss a lot of posts cause I'm not reading every one of them. I keep out of the third party sections completely unless I think I can assist in a techy way. No wait, I did mod one of them as someone was slagging Moome inappropriately, but it was more or less a fluke that I saw that. I didn't email the poster either, I modified what he wrote, edited the title as well I think.

Chill Guys, seriously, it's all good man. To be honest with you, I am not offended at all.
Hell, look how long it stayed up!!!!!!
Seriously though, I'm not upset one bit as I was in communication with a person who if was offended, would have asked me right then and there to take it down.
AVS has really grown on me lately. I still like AVS and you guys know I went through hell over there no doubt!
Remember, we have AVS to thank for our community here. It's been a great relationship and should continue that way.
