I have a question about red convergence of a 1031qm projector. See the attached picture. The blue and green lines parrallel reasonable good with all settings in the middle. The red is not good. I have to turn the skew control fully to get it almost parrallel with the red and blue lines. I've adjusted the projector to 72" (with spacer and lens adjustment) and the height / distance to the screen are setup following to the user manual.
The projector was setup for 100" and had the same problem. Any suggestions?

It seems that the red deflection yoke is rotated to the left. 'Just' rotate it back again.
I put 'just' in quotes as it's lethal voltages present.
Not sure what it could be else.

Thanks, that did the trick. I read about it on this site but found it to tricky. Afterwards it was not difficult at all.

Hmm. The red on my old sony had the same darned problem when I first set it up. Took me nearly a pack of smokes to work up the nerve to mess with that yoke and I had to have a drink afterward.

If it bothers you guys that much about getting shocked just turn the yoke with the projector off. With the projector off, mark a spot on the yoke and the tube with a black marker for a reference point, turn the yoke, fire up the projector. If it needs to go either way a little, just turn off the projector again, turn the yoke based off your reference mark and turn on again. It may take a couple tries but you don't have to worry about getting shocked.
