Some older b/w handheld tv sets were projection sets, with very small crt's. I've got one, I've always wanted to take it apart and check out how it all exactly works.

Anyone got a small 5" - 7" CRT? I'd even consider one with composite input.

He wanted the red CRT look from the 80's. Then I told him it was the LCD twist screens that had the red tint. We are looking at the amber monitor's on surplus shed, he's thinking he can put a red filter infront of that and get a dark orange.
Which remind's me....where can you buy Roscoe filter's?

Is it projection of folded CRT?
I have a folded CRT set 5" too.
