I own a 6" green crt monitor that I use on a Steadicam. The picture on it is not as sharp as it used to be, and in fact is down right soft when I set the brightness and contrast fairly high (when using outdoors). I know this is no projector and probably completely different, but maybe someone can help me troubleshoot the problem, I'm not really sure where to start. Ideas?

Could be simply tube wear, or could be the capacitor's are getting old and dryed out and are starting to leak.
Can you open it up an dpost a few close up's of the circuit board(s)?
