Why not just make thicker cans? (insert crude joke here).

To me it's all about skimping out. The arguement seems to be that everything electonic is obsolete within 5 years. I still prefer the sound of a 30 year old Pioneer receiver over any of the new crap out there today.

...and, apparently, the quality of VHS tapes to 1080p... Razz

That depends on what's playing..Wink

Interesting, the customs office that I always use just put in a 42" LG plasma for their 'missing kids' bulletin. They open at 8 Am, close at 12, so 16 hours a day use on that plasma. It's well installed (save for the permanently wired extension cord that breaks a number of electrical codes) in a climate controlled office. Mark the date today, it was installed sometime in the last week. Let's see how long that one lasts..Wink

Hey Curt, speaking of customs office, I dropped off those boards at UPS today and the Indian lady working behind the counter saw the ship to address and said "Oh, no! Canada!" "Those people are so strange about these things."

I went once (Guelph, Ontario) and had to this day the best steak I have ever eaten. Good beer too from what I remember of it. Laughing

Guelph? That's where the veterinary collage is. What kind of steak did you say that was? Wink
